ABOUT ROY

Ok so you really wanna know how this all came about then ? WHY WHY CAN'T YOU MAKE DO WITH STAYING IN THE DARK?!?!?!?!. Ok We'll tell you. It all started about 45 years ago in a cave (nope) right anyway there we we're shooting for upcoming skate video "The Dumbass Guide How Not To Make A Skate Video" which is out soon FYI anyway Milton Keynes was the place and we'd taken 2 car loads of skaters and some lights cameras and a spot of action. Anyway we'd set up a shot near the Keynes train station and we had the full shebang of lights and allsorts going down. 2 cameras rolling some stills photos being taken. We looked PRO we really did. The whole session consisted of people landing some sick ass tricks followed by some kind of respectful remark from the other skaters until the confusion of our good friend "POLLARD" came about when he developed some kind of speech impediment for a very brief amount of time. Another friend of our "WILEMAN" had just pulled out some beefy ass 180 over this traffic cone. In all the excitement our lovely friend POLLARD lept to his feet and shouted "YEH ROY!!!!!" everybody went silent to let the term sink in " Did he really say that ?" we all thought... The poor man explained himself and told us he was trying to shout YEH BOY! in some oldschool hip hop manner. For the rest of the evening the term was used widely by all and a revolution began. "Yeh Roy" Now known as a fantastic way to say anything or to get the attention of people you don't know (even women) So now you know the Why of Roy and you can sleep soundly tonight in your beds. E4 Voiceover Man Job

Yes upon the completion of Dumbass we start work on a video for non other than the E4 voiceover man Peter Dickson You can catch his voice on the promo to the left. Anyway we're making him a video which he will be using on his website. We won't tell you too much but it's gonna have some skating , some wicked graffiti and some shenanigan fun times!. Stay tuned to see what we come up with.

Dumbass although it's our seventh in the series is our first Dvd Release into shops it's coming out soon goto the official website Dumbassvideo.co.uk for more details be sure to add the Myspace account for your invite to the premiere. GoDanishGo....Web/TV Series

So what is next in the pipeline? Well upon the completion of the E4 voiceover job. We get to work on this beauty. The chap above is called Danish, He is a 19 year old Box factory worker from a deadbeat town called Hinckley. A web and tv series is currently in the making so keep your eyes peeled on this one. Danish is an absolute hoot a real british skateboarder no rubbish. real day in the life action from the man known as Danish did we mention he has a sound Tattoo? Promos and Videos to come shortly. WHAT ROY DOES

Ok so if you took a look to the left you know why we're called "YEHROY" but you may not be exactly clear on what it is we do. Well here goes...........

We make British Skateboard Media and Independently at that.

Dvds,Tv Shows, Webisodes, Photos, Graphics it's all skateboard related and we won't skimp on a spot of humour 'cos we're not here to bore you. We work with the likes of Tv Voiceovers and Celebs and we'll get the odd thing on television we have the connections.

We don't just shoot ourselves skateboarding we film anyone that shows interest. we put a different spin on the bog standard skate footage on top of music (thats just too easy) We'll present , we'll do fly on the wall documentaries we'll do promos for 3rd party companies aslong as it's skateboard related in some way shape or form.

We collaborate with skate shops, skaters the celebs designers musicians and the lot. In our productions we only use music we have permission to use. we use the finest british music from new bands and artists we think this is an important part of what we do.

scratching the odd back gets us what we need and helps the other party get what their after aswell. I direct production team is made up of Freelance Video makers , designers ,producers and more and between us we have the skills to pull these productions off. We get the dvds in the shops and the tv shows on the tv's. We cover locations all around the uk and hope you'll see somewhere you recognise when you view. Well get from this what you will. We are passionate about what we do and thought it was time we mixed these passions together to make something nice. Keep an eye on us Roys and Girls.
